"ODI-23065 Parameter Key Names Not Unique" Message is Received when Changing Data Server Properties in ODI 12c (Doc ID 2356848.1)

Following error is observed in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) when repeatedly changing the value of a Data Server property:

Unable to save MY_DATA_SERVER (ODI-23065 Parameter Key names not unique).

For reproducing the issue:

  1. Create a File Data Server.
  2. Edit the Data Server, and on the JDBC tab, set one of the Properties in the "Properties" section to a value different than the default value, and uncheck the "Use Default" box. Apply the changes, and close the Data Server editor.

  3.  Re-open the Data Server, and go to the JDBC tab. For the Property changed above, do:

    • Check the "Use Default" box.

    • Change the Value.

    • Uncheck the "Use Default" box.

    • Apply the changes and observe the error message.
