Symptoms

When attempting to login with an EUS user on Oracle 12.2.0.1 Database then the following error occurs: authFailureReason="SASL DIGEST-MD5 protocol error: SaslException(DIGEST-MD5: digest response: Wrong nonce)"

Due to this issue, not able to connect with an EUS user.
