SQL Developer Fails to Start On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7+ and Oracle Linux 6+ (Doc ID 2357818.1)

Download SQL Developer 17.4 Version (17.4.0.355.2349 December 22, 2017) from Oracle website.

Install jdk-8u152-linux-i586.rpm and sqldeveloper-17.4.0.355.2349-1.noarch.rpm per the installation instructions.

When invoke SQL Developer using below command, it writes some response but SQL Developer GUI does not load:

There are no error messages or exceptions.

This is a new installation.
