Goal

This document provides steps on how to find the stale VNICS on the Infiniband switch with status 'WAIT_IOA' and delete them to improve the performance.

'WAIT_IOA' status indicates that there is no link between the switch and the related Vserver that is associated with WAIT_IOA.
It could also be that the Vserver is in SHUTDOWN state then they are not stale.
It is recommended to make a note of all the VNICS in WAIT_IOA status on the IB switches before following the action plan.
