Symptoms

On OUD11g, when attempting to return ldapsearch data the following error occurs.

ERROR:

 "result=1 message="The entry null specified as the search base does not exist in the Directory Server" nentries=1 etime=0"


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
$ ./ldapsearch -p <LDAP_PORT> -D "cn=<DS_ADMIN>" -w <PASSWORD> -b "" -s one objectclass=\*
dn: cn=OracleContext

cn: OracleContext
