(Doc ID 2365197.1)
Last updated on DECEMBER 12, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Enterprise Data Quality for Product Data - Version 5.6.2 and laterGeneric Windows
Goal
The goal of this article is to convey a workaround that will allow the DataLens Services for Excel (Add-In) functionality in multiple Excel Workbooks.
First, it is necessary to understand the change in behavior and the reason for the workaround.
Change and Reason:
Starting in Office 2013, Microsoft introduced a change (in Microsoft Office) that would start subsequent workbooks in the same Excel.exe process (regardless of new or saved Workbooks). The DataLens Services for Excel (Add-In) or any other Add-In for that matter will be rendered inactive in all but the originally opened Excel Workbook.
