Symptoms
In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3, when opening a load plan which utilizes refresh variables and clicking on the variables tab, there is a 5-10 second (or greater) delay in the ODI Studio user interface (UI) before the variables tab will open.
Adding more variables to the load plan causes the delay to increase as noted above.
