Goal

Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g - How to Accomplish Automatic Deletion of a User Session in Certain Scenarios

OAM does not immediately drop the OAM user session if the client (user machine):

  • Accidental closure of browser window
  • Power failure
  • Network disconnection
  • Etc..

What is the way to cleanup the unused OAM sessions for users who close their browser instead of clicking logout in the application? Is there any script that can be run to purge these sessions? Will sessions that have reached idle user timeout also be purged?
