WebCenter Content Content UI (ADF) User Interface does not Allow Searching Using Keyboard Letter Keystrokes in the Drop Down Menus (Doc ID 2366774.1)

Symptoms

• Users must scroll to locate the value in drop down menus. 
• Users are unable to use keyboard letter keystrokes to help search for the list item.
• Cumbersome when the drop down menus contain several entries.

This functionality is available in the CS native UI.  In the example below, a user can click on the drop down and press the 'S' keyboard key to select 'System'.

This functionality isn't available in the ADF UI as shown below.  When the user presses 'S', no selection is made.
