Goal

Customer need to do a an on-demand snapshot of about 100s of GB of data, then restart the cluster with new partition number. Will the snapshot restore work if we change the partition number? If customer does archive the snapshot, then customer should be able to restore snapshot from archive, then restore snapshot even if target partition number has changed, is that correct or not?
