Symptoms

WebCenter Portal (11.1.1.9.0 (Build 170711.1901)).
WSRP Portlet is JSR-286 compliant and created in JDeveloper (11.1.1.9 with WebCenter extensions)

PortletRequest.USER_INFO returns NULL in the WSRP Portlet added to a WebCenter Portal page.
