(Doc ID 2374389.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 20, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After switching to DATABASE.METADATA Search Engine, the Full Text counters are still incremented when running a Collection Rebuild and are also seen as Full Text in the Automatic Indexer window.
This is also causing the Collection Rebuild to take a long time in his environment
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
After disabling Oracle Text Search and enabling Database.metadata expect that a collection rebuild would not full text index the documents
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Change Search engine from SearchIndexerEngineName=ORACLETEXTSEARCH to SearchIndexerEngineName=DATABASE.METADATA
2. Run a collection Rebuild
3. Note that the indexer full text counters are increasing and full text indexing most of the content
Changes
This occured when moving from SearchIndexerEngineName=ORACLETEXTSEARCH to SearchIndexerEngineName=DATABASE.METADATA
