Symptoms

IMPORTANT:

This note applies only to Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM)12c when harvesting from Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.3.0.0 repository.

For ODI 12.2.X versions, please check the Document:2310448.1: OEMM ODI Bridge Fails to Connect to ODI Repository with: "JPS-01531: Configuration Location ./config/jps-config.xml Is A Directory"

 

On Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) 12.2.1.2, while attempting to harvest, the Oracle Data Integrator bridge will fail to connect if the ODI 12.1.3.0.0 repository is configured to external authentication.

The following error is logged in the ODI Bridge import log:
