(Doc ID 2381902.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 12.2.1.2.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release FatWire]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Here is the sample use-case:
- Using Engage with Visitor Services to recommend personalized content to logged in Visitors.
- We would like to capture Visitor's Visited URLs within Sites and show it on the screen as Recently Visited section.
- We were looking at https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/wcs/develop/GUID-9A637A20-BADD-4B0C-A51A-2797E8E2773C.htm#WBCSD8590
- Using Extended activities to store this information. It seems API has addActivity and getRated functions to store and retrieve information, but it seems there is no function to increase the rating of stored information in case we would like to have most visited URLs as top rated.
