Goal

Provide steps to clear the MDS Cache For WebCenter Portal. 

This can assist if receiving an error message in the managed server log like the following:

[‎4/‎11/‎2018 12:22 PM]
MDS-00197: An internal error occurred when processing MetadataObject {0} with cache key {1}.
Cause: An error occurred in the LayeredCache processing.
Action: Check for log messages. If the problem persists, clear the MDS cache and contact Oracle Support Services.
Level: 1
Type: WARNING
Impact: Session
