Symptoms

Running eusm command from a 12.1 RDBMS Database (DB) Oracle Home or Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g fails with:

javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials]


Running eusm from the same server out of an 11.2 RDBMS Oracle Home works without problems, e.g.:
