Performance Degradation with Java 8u162 during CMS Garbage Collection (Doc ID 2392715.1)

Symptoms

On Java 8u162-b32 version, a performance degradation is observed during CMS Garbage Collection. 

Issue happens after updating from 8u152-b31 to 8u162-b32. The Application Server using 8u162-b32 reported a significant performance issue. 
From the active GC Log, the GC Remark phase is taking a long time.

does not have any effect on the behavior.
