Symptoms
When testing Application Continuity with JDBC/UCP 12.2.0.1, multiple connection attempts fail with the error ORA-12521: TNS:listener does not currently know of instance requested in connect descriptor.
The test in question executes a reboot -f during the commit phase. This reboot -f reboots the machine without shutting it down, during the activity.
The error message:
java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: A connection attempt failed
because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time,
or established connection failed because connected host has failed to
respond, Authentication lapse 0 ms.
