Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.1.0 version, Content Server

Unable to execute a metadata search in WCC ADF UI when using brackets in the search term.

When searching using Title or any other metadata and the search term contains brackets, for example 'my ( test'  below error in the WCC ADF UI is returned.

'There was an error executing the search, possibly because the search expression was invalid.'

Below the requestaudit:

>requestaudit/6 04.30 10:13:20.570 IdcServer-2361 GET_SEARCH_RESULTS [dUser=TOXXX][QueryText=(dDocType `KM_Surveys`) (`my ( test` dDocTitle)) (dSecurityGroup `Internal`][StatusCode=-1][StatusMessage=Unable to retrieve search results. STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to ADF
2. Choose a similar metadata and the search term contains brackets, for example 'my ( test'
3. Error is returned
