How to hide search operator fields in CS native UI search forms and default them for each metadata field? (Doc ID 2398349.1)

Goal

Is there a way to hide search operator drop downs in CS native UI search forms and set a default search operator (e.g., Substring) for the field(s)?

For example, the below screenshot is highlighting the search drop down for Account.  Is it possible to hide this drop down and default the search operator to something like Matches?
