Symptoms

When searching for certain LDAP groups in Enterprise Manager, those groups are not shown and the below error message is raised in emoms.log.  These same groups can be seen from WebLogic Server Admin Console - security realms.

[2018-03-14T09:35:43.207+00:00] [AdminServer] [NOTIFICATION:32] [] [oracle.sysman.emas.security] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '13' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <userif>] [ecid: <ecid>] [APP: em] Failed to get WLS groups.

When searching messages relating to "Failed to get WLS groups" error grouping by ECID, the below warning can also be found:

Module oracle.as.jmx.framework.standardmbeans.spi.OracleStandardEmitterMBean
