Exalogic Virtual: EoIB Interfaces Are Missing & VNICs Not Getting Created When Restarting vServer From EMOC (Doc ID 2399347.1)

In Exalogic 2.0.6.X Virtual racks, once vServer was restarted from EMOC console, the EoIB interfaces of the vServer does not come up, however, the IPoIB interfaces are up.

Following are steps to confirm this issue.

• 'mlx4_vnic_info -l' returns nothing (should be 2 Interfaces for EoIB bond), it returns the following message.

•  From the EMOC console - vDC management - vServer - Network tab, the network interfaces information is missing:

• In some cases, we see on the same Exalogic rack, only some of the vServers don't have the network information in EMOC console - vServer - network tab, not all. EoIB interfaces not coming up issue only happened on those vServers that we don't have the network interfaces information in EMOC - vServer -  Network tab.
