The Folder Field (fParentGUID) Is Not Displaying In The Search Form After Adding To a Profile

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After creating a profile that included a rule to customize and add the Folder (fParentGUID) field, the field is appearing in the Profile Check-in form but, is not visible on the Profile Search form.
Need to be able to search using the fParentGUID field.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Profile Rule
2. Select Folder (fParentGUID) field to be displayed
3. Note that the field now displays on the Check-in Page but, does not display on the new Profile Search page
