How To Extract Encrypted Password In OPENINFO From UBBCONFIG (Doc ID 2404628.1)

Last updated on JUNE 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

User used tmunloadcf to get a Tuxedo configuration with encrypted password information.  User extract the encrypted password alone with the SRVGRP information from this Tuxedo configuration file using shell script.  User then uses the extracted information to populate the Tuxedo configuration file with these information in OPENINFO.  Once the UBBCONFIG is updated, use then run tmloadcf against this updated UBBCONFIG file.

This worked fine until user moved to Tuxedo 12.1.3.

Everything still went OK with 12.1.3 until user did tmloadcf on the updated UBBCONFIG, and tmloadcf core dumped.
