Troubleshoot Oracle HTTP Server httpd.worker Process Appear To Be Restarting Even When MaxRequestPerChild Is Set To Zero (Doc ID 2407581.1)

Goal

Provide steps to determine why httpd.worker process appear to be restarting.
From ps listings it was observed that httpd.worker process PID was changing intermittently.
Sample ps output between two time periods

 

There are no abnormal entries recorded in OHS logfiles.
MaxRequestPerChild is set to "0" so httpd.worker process should not be restarted.
