Unable to Start ODI Managed Server after Completing the SSL Configuration (Doc ID 2408340.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1, after configuring SSL for the WebLogic server (WLS), including the Node Manager, the managed server does not start via the WebLogic Console. The following error is reported:

For server <ODI_MANAGED_SRV>, the Node Manager associated with machine <ODI_MACHINE> is not reachable.

 Where <ODI_MANAGED_SRV> is the ODI managed server and <ODI_MACHINE> is the WLS configured ODI Machine.
