Can a Default Metadata Field be Modified Based on the WFR Batch Status? (Doc ID 2410329.1)

Goal

There is a WebCenter Enterprise Capture (WEC) environment configured with 3 Batch Statuses (COMP, EMPL, and INV).  The business requirement is to have the Inv_Priority metadata field automatically change depending on the batch status. A script was used to have this automatically update the Invoice Priority so that INV will change to 2 and EMPL and COMP type will change to 1.

The script is working, however it was noticed that if the user imported a number of batches, and then either refreshes the page or clicks on the batch refresh list, the script no longer works, and thus does not automatically update the Invoice Priority for those batches. Is there a way to fix this?
