(Doc ID 2412817.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mapping that loads data from a Progress database to an Oracle database uses two tables as a source via a "join." The loading fails with the following error message if the join is set to occur on the source:
INFO: STAGING hint ignored due to errors when moving: <NAME>.JOIN STAGING-> SOURCE
oracle.cef.sdk.model.GraphModelDomainException: oracle.odi.ui.mapping.physical.model.domain.PhysicalDomainModelController $ MappingMessageException: The JOIN physical node can not be supported by Progress technology on the thread <THREAD_NAME> of the <MAPPING_NAME> mapping.
If the join query is executed via SQL Developer with the same driver used, no issue occurs.
Changes
The environment was upgraded from ODI 10g to ODI 12c.
