Opening the Capture Client Generates Error "Unable to cache bundle"

Symptoms
When opening the Capture Client after installing multiple patches, the client downloads the OIT bundle but then generates the error message:
Unable to cache bundle: Opening Client Generates An Caching Client Bundle Error for file:///C:\Users\<username>\.oracle_capture\bundles\Capture_01\bin\oracle.dc.oitexport.native-linux-32_12.212.1.jar
Note that this error appears to have no effect on the operation of the Capture Client.
