Error "ORA-00001: Unique Constraint" when Restoring Deleted Object from SVN in ODI 12c (Doc ID 2414405.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c is configured with Apache Subversion (SVN).

When attempting to restore a deleted object from SVN, the following error occurs:

 To reproduce:

  1. Create a Mapping and add to VCS.
      
  2. Delete the Mapping.
     
  3. Add a new Version:

    • EITHER:

         Team > VCS Actions > Pending Changes
         Select the mapping that has been deleted along with the project and folder, select to create a new version
               
    • OR alternatively:

         The same can be achieved by selecting the parent folder or project of the deleted a mapping and create a new version
                
  4. Team > VCS Actions > Restore Deleted Object
          
  5. Select the time frame => the Mapping is found
          
  6. Select the "restore selected object" icon
    => ODI-12308: Restore Deleted operation failed.
             
  7. Select the "restore selected object" icon a second time:
    => this time the object can be restored.
