Symptoms
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c is configured with Apache Subversion (SVN).
When attempting to restore a deleted object from SVN, the following error occurs:
To reproduce:
- Create a Mapping and add to VCS.
- Delete the Mapping.
- Add a new Version:
- EITHER:
Team > VCS Actions > Pending Changes
Select the mapping that has been deleted along with the project and folder, select to create a new version
- OR alternatively:
The same can be achieved by selecting the parent folder or project of the deleted a mapping and create a new version
- EITHER:
- Team > VCS Actions > Restore Deleted Object
- Select the time frame => the Mapping is found
- Select the "restore selected object" icon
=> ODI-12308: Restore Deleted operation failed.
- Select the "restore selected object" icon a second time:
=> this time the object can be restored.
