ODSM Getting Failed SSL Verification (Doc ID 2414612.1)

Symptoms

If we change from DemoIdentity to SelfSigned certificate to support 1024 bits encryption
Connections from clients to the wl server are OK.
The problem occurs when attempting to connect to OVD server.

On the GUI we get a pop-up :

ODSM getting failed SSL verification

Point your browser to: http://<host1.domain>:<port1>

Try connecting to directory: https://<host2.domain>:<port2>
username: “cn=<user_account>”
passwd: <password>

Getting error

Server<host2.domain>:<port2> has failed SSL verification. This may be due to a host address or port problem or trust could not be verified or was declined.

On the log file it is seeing:
