"ODI-15022 No RKM Set" Error when Attempting to Reverse Engineer New Salesforce.com Model (Doc ID 2416934.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) release 12.2.1.1.0 and 12.2.1.2.6, when attempting to reverse-engineer a salesforce.com model, the following error occurs:

The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:

  1. Create a Salesforce.com technology
  2. Create Physical schema
  3. Create logical schema
  4. Create new model
  5. Attempt to reverse-engineer
    => notice the error

The issue can also occur in ODI 12.2.1.3.0 and later when connecting to upgraded work repositories.
