Symptoms
Oracle Access Manager 11g (OAM 11.2.3.x) Federated Service - Is Appending RelayState Parameter for all the Responses Even if they have a Blank Value
- Migrated from Oracle Identity Federation (OIF 11.1.1.2.0) to OAM 11gR2PS3 by following the Fusion Middleware Migration Guide for Oracle Identity and Access Management, 7 Migrating Oracle Identity Federation to Oracle Access Management Identity Federation, 7.1 Migration Summary
- After migration the RelayState is always getting appended along with SAMLResponse even if RelayState is blank
- Due to this some of the Service Providers are having issues in validating the SAML Response and SSO is broken
- In OIF 11g, the RelayState parameter was not getting appended if it is blank value
Need to configure OAM to send RelayState parameter along with SAMLResponse ONLY if it has some value and it should not send RelayState Parameter when it has blank value
Changes
Migrated from Oracle Identity Federation (OIF 11.1.1.2.0) to OAM 11gR2PS3
