Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), when attempting to Initialize Deployment Repository using EXEC archive, the following error occurs:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. On a blank Repository, in Studio go to the Deployment Archive under the Team dropdown menu, and select Initialize Deployment Repository.
  2. Select the EXEC archive.
  3. When prompted for Export Key, select Ignore.
