Batch Jobs Hang and Maximum Database Connections Fail in a New EDQ Installation (Doc ID 2427387.1)

This issue is most likely encountered in a new installation of Enterprise Data Quality.


Symptoms

Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) Jobs hang or raise database connection errors while running batch jobs.

Observation of the number of active database connections shows it is approaching or at the maximum for PROCESSES.
