Symptoms

During upgrade of WebLogic 12.1.2 to 12.2.1.3 on running 12.2.1.3 reconfig.sh script, the following error is noticed at the set up stage of the GUI screens:

UPGWLS-03501: Unexpected exception occurred during the domain upgrade.

In the associated log file, the following can be seen:
