Symptoms
Oracle Access Manager 12c (OAM 12.2.1.3.x) Lib-OVD not Maintaining Minimum Number of Connections as set in the Connection Pool to the Backend LDAP Server
- Oracle Access Manager 12.2.1.3.0
- Lib-OVD 12.1.3.0.0
- Connection to OUD from OAM is timing out from SSL / Non SSL
- OAM is not able to create new connections to backend LDAP after running fine for a while.
- There is no issue with backend LDAP. T
- To temporarily resolve the issue, either restart OAM, or make a minor update on the ID store (in oamconsole) then click "Apply"
- Firewall between OAM and backend LDAP
- OVD 11g: OAM Intermittently Fails with: OAMSSA-20012 An Incorrect Username or Password was Specified / OAM Log Shows: javax.naming.NamingException: LDAP response read timed out, timeout used:2000ms.; remaining name <user DN> (Doc ID 1614924.1), has been implemented and had no effect
