Content UI Is Not Handling Correctly Content Profile Rule With Empty Restricted List (Doc ID 2433816.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.1.0 version, Content Server

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Content UI is not handling correctly content profile rule with empty restricted list, but showing unexpected list options.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Content UI to handle correctly content profile rule with empty restricted list to hide list options like as Native UI


SETUP
======

  1. Launch Configuration Manager
  2. Select Information Fields
  3. Click on IdcProfile field
  4. Click on Edit values button
  5. Click on Add button and use following information:
      dProfileTriggerValue Profile1
      dProfileTriggerOrder 0
  6. Close
  7. Select: Options->Publish schema
  8. Click Add button in Information Fields tab
      Field Name: Field1
      Enable option list checkbox
  9. Click configure button
      Choose Option List type: Edit and Select List
  10. Click Edit button, Use values
       a
       b
       c
       d
  11. Click ok, then ok again
  12. Options->Publish schema
  13. Click Update Database design
  14. Click Rebuild search index
  15. Select Rules tab
  16. Click Add button and use the following values:
      General tab->Name: Rule1
    1.   Fields tab->Add button
    2.   Choose filed name from Field Name drop down: Field1
    3.   Click ok
    4.   Click Has restricted list checkbbox
    5.   Click edit
    6.   Add a blank line
    7.   Click ok, then ok again
  17. Select: Options->Publish schema
  18. Select Profiles tab
  19. Click Add button and use the following values:
      Name: Profile1
      Display Label: Profile1
  20. Trigger ellipsis button - select Profile1
  21. Click ok
  22. Click Exclude non-rule fileds checkbox
  23. Click Add button
      Choose Name: Rule1
  24. Click ok
  25. Select: Options->Publish schema



TESTS
==========================================
In NativeUI

  1. New Checkin->Profile1
  2. Click on drop down to the right of Field1

Observe:

-> THIS IS THE DESIRED BEHAVIOR


In Content UI (ADFUI)

  1. Upload button->Profile1
  2. Browse to a file
  3. Expand Metadata section by clicking on triangle
  4. Click on the arrow to the right of Field1

Observe:

-> THIS IS NOT THE DESIRED BEHAVIOR - customer does not want a,b,c,d to be visible here.


NOTE: If you do not add a blank line in step 16 (Has restricted list checkbox, then Edit button) you will see the option list values in NativeUI also.
