Web Service Call Generated By UTL_DBWS Is Setting The Log Level To FINE Filling Up Trace Directory (Doc ID 2435113.1)

Symptoms

Web Service call generated with UTL_DBWS is creating 10,000 trace files per day that contain the message: "INFO: Trying to connect to URL: http://<hostname>:<port>/AppRoot/CallService ".

This is filling up the filesystem which may lead to an unplanned outage.

The issue is when the tool generates the class files and jar, by default it sets the logging to FINE level.

If the next line in the code generated:

 

In the .......PortClientJPub.java file, the issue is resolved.
