When attempt to open a report on remote file system via mapped drive, you are unable to see or access this mapped drive.

However, you can access the same mapped drive as the Oracle (Administrator) user.

Even if the non-Oracle user created this mapped drive, the Reports Builder will not see it.

Steps:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Windows as non-Oracle user.
  2. cd %DOMAIN_HOME%\reports\bin
  3. Right-Mouse click on "rwbuilder.bat" and select "Run as Administrator".
  4. Try to "Open an existing report"
  5. When search for the mapped network drive, it does not appear.
