Symptoms
On Weblogic 12.2.1.3.0 version setup, connection to Admin Console fails at http://hostname:{default_port}/console , or even telnet at that port ({default_port}) or any other Managed Server configured with the same hostname but different port (for example port1 / port2 / port3), despite firewalls being open for the port and bi-directional traffic being monitored from workstations to the linux server at that port.
