Admin Server Pages Fail to Open After Setting ConfigDir Parameter in the WCC intradoc.cfg file (Doc ID 2439359.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter Content (WCC) 12c.

The WCC config directory is located outside of the domain directory or the file share used by the WCC.

In the <WCC domain>/ucm/cs/bin/intradoc.cfg file, the ConfigDir parameter is set to point to that external config directory.

And the config directory under the domain directory or file share is deleted.

The WCC managed server(s) start and are accessible. Core functions like check ins and searches work as expected.

But open any of the Content Server Admin Server pages, the Component Manager, General Configuration, Content Security, Internet Configuration will fail with the following error:
