Symptoms
On WebCenter Portal (WCP) 12.2.1.3.180417.
Running Elasticsearch full crawl on a server with 8GB heap and 6 CPU fails with Out of Memory errors.
Running the initial full crawl of 384K documents causes an Out of Memory error, even when setting the Java Heap to 8GB.
Server has 40GB in total memory.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure Elasticsearch following Configuring Elasticsearch in WebCenter Portal
2. Start initial full crawl
3. Note that the Elasticsearch server crashes with Out Of Memory error
