MAPVIEWER_9008 Error occurs when the number of data is more than 100,000 (Doc ID 2441936.1)

Symptoms

MAPVIEWER_9008 Error occurs when the number of data points is more than 100,000.


A theme was called from the USER_SDO_THEMES view in the database to retrieve map data in the format of OM layer, VectorLayer, TYPE_PREDEFINED and displayed.

When  "loadOnDemand: false” is set to "loadOnDemand: true”, the following errors are posted int the Mapviewer log:

SEVERE: Error fetching data for theme US_CITIES.
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-29902: error in executing ODCIIndexStart() routine
ORA-13200: internal error [ODCIIndexStart] in spatial indexing.
ORA-13034: Invalid data in the SDO_ORDINATE_ARRAY in SDO_GEOMETRY object
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 585
