Information in this document applies to any platform.
Normal user accounts in ou=People need to be passed through for authentication (PTA) to AD and there is also service accounts in ou=Special Users, these have ordinary passwords and need to be authenticated in OUD itself.
Example: ou=people,dc=example,dc=com and ou=Special Users, dc=example,dc=com
