Unable To Access OHS And LBR URL's from the Imaging and SOA BPEL Composite Integration (Doc ID 2443295.1)

Last updated on APRIL 26, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A WebLogic domain has SOA and WebCenter Content: Imaging clustered Managed Servers with 2 nodes each deployed in a Solaris Sparc super cluster environment. In addition, the WebLogic domain has a pair of clustered OHS (HTTP Servers) for SOA and another pair for Imaging.  To balance the load, there is a Cisco F5 load-balancer (LBR) in place.

SSL is not configure in SOA, Imaging, or OHS. SSL is enabled in the LBR and terminates there. LBR certificates are imported into keystore (.jks file).

The problem arises in JDeveloper when attempting to deploy a SOA BPEL Composite which invokes the Imaging URL tools. If the BPEL process code uses the actual host Imaging web service URL, the deployment succeeds.  However, when attempting to use the OHS or LBR URL's, the deployment fails.
