ODI 11g Load Plan Stuck and Scenario Execution Having Empty Return Code

Symptoms
An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Load Plan is composed of several Scenario steps, and execution used to complete without issues in the past.
Although the Session corresponding to a Scenario step successfully completes its execution, the Load Plan does not move to the next step.
The behavior persists after having restarted the Load Plan, the Agent, and the ODI Repositories database.
In the Load Plan execution UI, the Session corresponding to the above successful Scenario execution does not show any return code (the field is empty):
