ODI 12c Mapping Execution Throws Error "ORA-01843: Not A Valid Month" (Doc ID 2446803.1)

Symptoms

Upon executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mapping from Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle, it fails with the following error:

ODI-1228: Task Load data-LKM SQL to SQL-<TASK> fails on the target connection <TARGET_CONNECTION>.
Caused By: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-01843: not a valid month

Changes

The target table was reverse-engineered again after the original reverse-engineer action.
