Symptoms
On : 12.2.1.2.0 version, Content Server
Following application of July 2018 WCC Critical Patch (12.2.1.2 patch 27918773) update, Saved Searches have invalid query text with escaped characters. Escaping of the '<' and '>' characters resulting in invalid query text.
ERROR

Content Server Request Failed
Error Unable to retrieve search results. The query text is invalid.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a targeted quick search include operator
2. Run search
3. Error
