Purpose
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c supports integration with Salesforce.com, and starting version 12.2.1.2.6 ODI leverages the Data Direct JDBC driver from Progress.
Troubleshooting issues without having in-depth knowledge on the underlying Salesforce.com technology and the database connecting to can be challenging.
The Data Direct driver's Spy logging option can help here.
While this document was written for Salesforce.com technology, the spy.log can be turned on for any other technology using Data Direct JDBC driver.
